It looks as though we can finally heave a sigh and plant tomatoes...we hope. I'm looking out at Grand Traverse Bay as I type, and, OHHH LALA, it is stunning - dye studio inspiration anyone?
We're also gearing up for "festival season" as it's known around here. I'll be wearing my musician hat tmorrow for the Spirit of the Woods Folk Festival in Bretheran and then my fiber artist hat next Sunday, June 28th, at the new Gypsy Market at The Little Fleet in Downtown Traverse City.
My hat stand is getting a little top-heavy, but I know we'll figure it out in the end.
In other news, I am involved in a project to support a lovely nonprofit called Peace Rance. These lovely folks have rescue and retired animals, mostly equine, but also several alpaca (in 3 colors!!). We are teaming up with them to create some simple and lovely scarflets out of their amazing hair and they will be available at Oryana Natural Foods Market to support the Peace Ranch and all the lovely things they do. Way to show us Humans can still be humaine!
