Closing out the year...

This year has been a LOT. A lot of ups and downs, joys and struggles, and a lot of growth. I feel like I've been branching out in new ways and hoarding my little joys like a squirrel preparing for winter snow.

As a business, I've continued to try out new fiber blends, colors, shows, and collaborations. I've continued to try and embody the "Be Like Eunice" attitude and do the things that make me feel joyful. This year has been full of hard gratifying work, and I'm excited to keep it up for next year. I am continuing to work closely with Jill Bigelow Suttell of The Bean Knits, and there are some really lovely things in the works.

As a maker, I've started scheduling time for rest and reflection between the madness of shows and studio and travel. I don't always follow that schedule (let me tell you I have ADHD....), but my health has benefited so much when I do that it's a great motivator.

Here's to rest and good hardy work balanced in some way and taking this last month of 2025 to really lean into time with my family. Here's to reading romanticy and science fiction and knitting and spinning and making things. Here's to hunkering down with hot tea and a warm sweater. Here's to getting to do what I love for yet another year.

Enjoy this snapshot of Jill and me at New York Sheep & Wool Festival (Rhinebeck) this year. We had a blast in our VERY fancy new hats.
