Spring and wool, it's been a good 12 months.

Here we go again... It's spring in Michigan, and I realize I haven't typed a post in about a year.

A lot has happened in the last 12 months: I've met new mill owners, farmer/shepherds, and makers of all kinds. I've had the opportunity and privilege to bring new yarns to fruition thanks to the help of those same awesome people. I've been offered space in conversations I never expected (hey Knit Stars, Fibre Variety Hour, In Kinship Handmade), and have found a circle of people that I call friends, family, confidants, and support. Thats a heck of a LOT, and I am GRATEFUL!

I feel like I've learned so much, and that has shown me that I have SO, SO much more to learn. That's one of the things I love most about what I do. It's the endless rabbit hole of fiber learning.

This year, I'm looking towards new and exciting collaborations with The Bean Knits, wild fun with the Lock, Top, and Skein experiment with Bricolage Studios and Supernova Dyeworks, and just getting back into the root of what I love: Dyeing yarn and fiber.

Much love,

Kat
